I am a Computer Vision and Machine Learning researcher, have been working as Associate Research Engineer, at IDEAS, the Technology Innoation Hub of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. My supervisor is Prof. Umapada Pal.
Prior to this, I worked as an Independent Researcher, focusing on Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Pattern recognition.
Prior to that, I worked as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services Limited.

My research focus is broadly centered around Deep Learning and its applications in Computer Vision problems. In the past few years I have explored diverse range of topics including Self-supervised Learning, Object Detection, Document Layout Analysis, Knowledge Distillation, Image Retrieval, Scene Text Recognition. Currently, I am looking for PhD opportunities and am highly interested to collaborate on Computer Vision and Machine Learning based research projects. |
